1. Service

Job Ranker ("the Service") is an AI-powered job listing scoring and ranking tool operated by Walter Smuts, Dresden, Germany. The Service aggregates publicly available job listings and scores them using AI models.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Free tier: 10 AI-scored jobs per day, no payment required.
• Paid subscriptions: €15/month or €5/week, billed via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services. By using the Service immediately after subscribing, you acknowledge that you may lose this right.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Service beyond normal browser use.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data obtained from the Service.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or payment requirements.
• Access API endpoints programmatically for commercial purposes without written permission. The API is provided solely for use through the Job Ranker web interface.
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm others.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, scoring algorithms, and aggregated data, is the property of Walter Smuts. Job listings remain the property of their respective publishers. AI-generated scores and tags are provided for informational purposes only.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job listings or AI-generated scores. Job listings may be outdated, removed, or inaccurate. Always verify information directly with the employer.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, incorrect scoring, or service interruptions.

8. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dresden, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
